Jab gets fireworks on his birthday everytime IT IS NOT FAIR. blrrr. today is 09.08.08,not cool because it is not 08.08.08,nevertheless today was still cool because we found a nice elevated spot away from the horde(mind you cityhall was booming with people in red) and with an unhindered view of the sky… and then got there just in time to watch those fighter jets strut their stuffffff…so awesome i tell you,i was literally in awe like i kept going whoooaaa!! hahhah especially when they did the heart shape.. i mean how cool was that?? and then of course there was the fireworks, which never fail to amaze me, everytime.. albeit incomparable to the display at the olympics opening yesterday.. the Chinese were brilliant by the way,did u see the stuff they put tgt?crazy just crazy.. and oh on that note,i saw Kang.. haa quite cool,3 seconds of air time,3 seconds and just about 3bajillion people have seen his face,whether they intended to or not.. which kinda reminds me of the topic that yun brought up the other time on whether it is ever possible for us to completely blot out our existence on this earth; that is to say,we are to destroy all records,traces of our existence - government documents,personal possessions,hair strands,used tissues,fingerprints,video recordings,photos,whatever whatever… i mean is it possible to get rid of all that and make it seem as if you never walked the earth? i was just watching oth and Lucas scott said something like,”Have you ever looked at a picture of yourself and see a stranger in the background? it makes you wonder how many strangers have pictures of you…“. somewhat corresponding to wht yun said. and so we concluded,actually i cant rmb wht we concluded,but i concluded that well,it is almost impossible for you to do so..unless you hv been living in a hole all this time. other than that,i’m sure some stranger that you’d probably never know of,has a record of you whether he realizes it or not,or cares,and really.. there’s nothing much you can do about it. So in case you are wondering what this has got to do with wht i was saying previously… well.. i’m just saying that if ever Kang would attempt to eliminate his very existence,he would fail. simply because 3 bajillion souls have witnessed his actuality,plus,maybe about a trillion tv stations worldwide would hv recorded his actuality,and all that is just beyond his grasp so he might as well forget it. anyway i don’t see why he might even want to. anyone for that matter.. surely no one messes up that badly right?ah well i just can’t help but to muse on it..however stupid it sounds. haha IM SRY THIS IS QUITE POINTLESS.. (Disclaimer: i do not think national day is cool,i just really enjoy the F16s in all its glory,and fireworks. And bajillion is an exaggeration,we do not hv tht many ppl in the world)
Enough of mindless gab,on to more..thoughtful.. thoughts.
Today is jabbie’s birthday… he is such a silly,lame,happy boy..in that i know i can always be silly,lame and happy when i hang around him. i can speak my mind,don’t really hv to be cautious about what comes out because i knw he will just laugh it off.. don’t hv to bother if i make sense at all or form proper sentences because most of the time he doesn’t anyway. The kind i can meet up after a long time and not hv awkward moments. the kind whom i know will be the same ol person ten,twenty years down the road,not so much the maturity but more of the honesty in his character.. i really need more friends like him,friends who retort a silly remark with a silly remark,friends who choose to lower themselves to your frequency just so you can stop feeling smart for a day,friends who take you for who you are,friends who are unashamed to walk alongside even if you were to slap a giant purple plaster over your nose,kick in the shades,and have people stop to stare as you parade down orchard road..because you look rather odd… (hahaa this is actually my bestfriend..and i am tht great friend ha.. she secretly enjoys the strange reactions) yes… i think you get the point. then again,thank God for a variety of friends..friends who do deep talk with me,bestfriends,good friends,all of you matter anyway:D So well,Happy Birthday jab.. i just thought i’ll say sth nice whether u read this or not. and yes the nation celebrates with you,again.. yay… let’s go skating soon.
